Correspondence to Morley Roberts, 1925.

Sir Muirhead Bone thanks Morley Roberts for his support in the recent effort to protect Jacob Epstein's sculpture of Rima (memorial to W. H. Hudson). A copy of his letter to Viscount Peel, who held the position of First Commissioner of Works in the British government, was originally enclosed (it is not included here). Bone tells of plans to create a pamphlet with a preface by R. B. Cunninghame Graham, and refers to their desire to include an epilogue quoting from a note in W. H. Hudson's will regarding Hudson's bequeathal of money to provide pictures of birds for schools. The note was in Roberts's possession and Bone requests that Roberts provide wording, and also let him know what permissions would be required.
